BALBOA (PPC)
Balboa operates in the Pacific. It is the number one transshipment terminal in Latin America. The port works with 25 gantry cranes (10 Post Panamax, 8 Panamax and 7 Super Post Panamax) and 47 RTGs, and has a total of 40 hectares dedicated to the storage of containers and 5 docks for container ships.
CRISTOBAL (PPC)
With a handling capacity of more than 2 million TEUs, this port has land access to the Colon Free Trade Zone and an interface with the railroad within its facilities that easily allows the movement of containers, with a total of 1,143 connections for refrigerated, 3 docks for containers and 12 hectares dedicated to the handling and storage of containers respectively, 13 gantry cranes and 36 RTGs.
PANAMA INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL (PSA)
Located in the Pacific, its first phase has a 330 meter long dock and is equipped with 3 Post Panamax cranes and 9 RTGs. The second phase has 2 springs with length of 400m each, 12 cranes mounted on rails and 8 additional gantry cranes with a reach of 24 containers wide to serve vessels of 18,000 TEUs. In total, it has the capacity to handle 2.5 million TEUs.
MANZANILLO INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL (MIT)
MIT is located on the Atlantic Coast of Panama, near the Northern entrance of the Panama Canal. MIT's berths are distributed in 6 container berths and 3 Ro-Ro berths. The container berths are equipped with 19 Post-Panamax and Super Post-Panamax quay cranes; over 2,000 reefer points and modern terminal management computer systems.
COLON CONTAINER TERMINAL (CCT)
This terminal is part of the Evergreen group and has a total area of 74.33 hectares, an access channel of 16.4 meters of draft and a dock of maneuvers with a radius of 600 meters for the rotation of ships. This port has land access to the Colon Free Trade Zone and the railroad; 4 container docks, 13 gantry cranes and other yard equipment give CCT a handling capacity of 2.4 million TEUs.
PETRO AMERICA TERMINAL, S.A. (PATSA)
PATSA is strategically located on the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal, with a wide range of refined products storage. With an approximate capacity of 1.5 million barrels of fuel storage.
BAHIA LAS MINAS TERMINAL
Bahia Las Minas is located in the Atlantic side, near Colon. Petroleum products are stored in the terminal which is operated by Vopak. It has 65 tanks with a total capacity of 509,000 cbm.
MELONES OIL TERMINAL
Located in Melones Island on the Pacific side and operates within a Petroleum Free Zone. Melones Oil terminal is dedicated to the storage of hydrocarbons. It has 16 storage tanks with a total capacity of 2,100,000 barrels (338,000 cbm) of HFO and DIESEL.
